Newspaper, wire, spray paint, fishing line, glue
This mixed media sculpture physically interprets the symbolism of a poem we studied in class. The poem emphasized how communities come together during times of natural disaster—an idea represented through the use of newspaper and the sculpture’s tornado-like form. The materials and structure echo both fragility and resilience, turning literature into a tactile exploration of collective strength and upheaval.
