This piece was created during my internship with the Seton Hill University Theatre and Dance Departments for their Spring 2025 production of Lysistrata. The play, a Greek comedy with a modern lens on women’s empowerment, was guided by three key creative directions from the client: “illustrative,” “Met Gala,” and “power suits.” In response, I developed a hand-drawn, illustrative poster featuring the Parthenon—reimagined with women in high-fashion Met Gala gowns as the supporting columns. This visual metaphor emphasized the core message of the production: women upholding society and leveraging their collective power to bring an end to war.
